La Primera Autoridad Municipal recordó que como parte de los esfuerzos por mejorar Cancún, se logró la inversión de más de 42 millones de pesos para la construcción de carpeta asfáltica, pozos de absorción, señalética y demás servicios en la avenida Orquídeas; así como más de 27 millones de pesos para la rehabilitación de la avenida Politécnico y más de 15 millones destinados a la reconstrucción de la carpeta de concreto asfáltico de la calle Págalo.

Aseguró que durante este último año de trabajo se impulsan acciones que permiten llevar justicia social a las familias cancunenses, así como la realización de proyectos prioritarios para llevar a la ciudad al siguiente nivel de bienestar, ya que contar con vialidades en óptimas condiciones, permite reforzar la seguridad vial de conductores y peatones, agilizar los tiempos de traslado y mantener la imagen urbana.

Además, comentó que con el proyecto de semaforización, se busca llegar a un nuevo modelo de tránsito, en el que los peatones estén más seguros, con adecuaciones encaminadas a generar accesibilidad universal y cruces seguros.

El proyecto consta de dos fases para aplicar mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y actualización de un total de 167 cruces semaforizados con una inversión aproximada de 100 millones de pesos obtenidos a través del recurso por Concepto del Derecho de Saneamiento Ambiental. La primera etapa iniciará con la modernización de 14 cruces viales seguros, así como la adecuación de cruces peatonales, con la que se busca mejorar la seguridad vial de conductores y principalmente de los peatones con características de accesibilidad universal.

La Cineteca Nacional de México condenó el acto de discriminación sufrido en sus instalaciones por una mujer trans, cuando una agente de seguridad privada la sacó por la fuerza del baño de mujeres el martes 12 de septiembre.

En un comunicado, las autoridades de la Cineteca Nacional se comprometieron a respetar de manera irrestricta los derechos humanos y la igualdad, por lo cual reprobaron los hechos ocurridos entre la agente y la mujer trans y recordaron que asegurar la no discriminación y evitar cualquier tipo de violencia o discriminación son parte de su normativa interna.

“Esta institución lamenta lo acaecido hoy (12 de septiembre) y ofrece una disculpa a la usuaria Laura @transyfugas, por el acto de intolerancia de que fue objeto por parte del servicio de vigilancia privada que resguarda las instalaciones de esta Cineteca Nacional México”, indicó.

La dirección de la Cineteca afirmó que actuó de manera inmediata para dar atención a la usuaria y tomar las medidas respectivas por cuanto hace al elemento de seguridad privada.

“En consecuencia, y con la finalidad de garantizar, sensibilizar y concientizar a todo el personal que labora en la Cineteca Nacional México, se compromete a trabajar de manera conjunta con @CONAPRED, @COPRED y @CDHCMX en cursos de capacitación, sensibilización y profesionalización en materia de derechos humanos, a la no discriminación y a la igualdad”, añadió.

La Dirección General de Diversidad Sexual y Derechos Humanos de la Secretaría de Inclusión y Bienestar Social (SIBISO) señaló a su vez en un comunicado:

“Los baños siguen siendo un espacio de vigilancia y cuestionamiento para las personas trans, lo cual es inadmisible. La presión y ansiedad que experimentan son resultado de todos esos prejuicios, desinformación y estigmas, que son la base socio cultural de la transfobia.”

Consideró viable reforzar el enfoque, el derecho a la igualdad y a la no discriminación en todos los espacios públicos, desde las áreas de atención, primeras y primeros respondientes, vigilancia, hasta quienes están al frente de los espacios de atención de toma de decisión en cualquier jerarquía.

“Desde la Dirección General de Diversidad Sexual y Derechos Humanos reprobamos lo sucedido en la Cineteca Nacional México. Y, es por ello, que ponemos en sus manos este contacto para, en caso de querer denunciar cualquier acto de discriminación, poderles acompañar y asesorar en el proceso”, indicó.

Asimismo, hizo un llamado a instituciones, dependencias, corporativos o empresas a acercarse para establecer acciones coordinadas de sensibilización y capacidad en diversidad sexual y de género.

Consideró indispensable tomar en cuenta la importancia de la cultura de la prevención y la actualización constante sobre los derechos humanos de las personas LGBTTTI+ de los habitantes de la Ciudad de México.

Recordó las películas sobre las experiencias de personas trans difundidas por la Cineteca Nacional México, un espacio cultural importante sobre el arte cinematográfico y la fotografía.

“Sigamos, que esto continúe sin experiencias de discriminación. La responsabilidad del gobierno de la Ciudad de México es garantizar y promover los derechos de las personas LGBTTTI+ que habitan y transitan por la Ciudad de México”, refirió.
